Dear Cup & Crown Followers and Subscribers:
I'm a new business owner who is new to business. But I already know that - and this especially rings true with the current pandemic - that you must reinvent yourself to stay on top of current trends and meet the desires of your customers.
I initially created Virtual Tea Tastings as a fun and interactive way to bring friends together for tea and to spread an awareness to tea drinkers and non-tea drinkers alike that there are many more delicious teas available around the globe than English Breakfast and Earl Grey [tea enthusiasts everywhere just collectively nodded their heads in unison with a facial expression of "DUH!"]. I hosted Cup & Crown's inaugural hostess-led tasting last week; and I am more than pleased with how well it went and how much fun we all had together. I was also very happy with the constructive critiques that participants gave me.
One participant in particular imparted that, though she has enjoyed the extra time the quarantine has given her with her family, our tea party was a welcome reprieve that made her realize how much she missed and still needed her time with friends, her "girl time without the men".
Another agreed and added that, as a coffee drinker, she enjoyed her teas and getting a little tea education; but her favorite part was the conversation and interaction with everyone.
In this time of self-quarantine, this is a brilliant way to socialize with and feel closer to distant friends, family, and colleagues.
So I write this blog to say that I hear those comments loudly and clearly! Less education and more entertainment it is!
Visit my NEW "Virtual Tea Party" page to see information on Cup & Crown's improved concept of an internet social that will begin your your choice of 3 teas to sample and continue with games and fun topics. In this time of self-quarantine, this is a brilliant way to socialize with and feel closer to distant friends, family, and colleagues.
Ever so gratefully,
Nancy, Your Tea Party Hostess
